Benefit: They're Real! tinted primer

When talking about beauty and makeup, Benefit cosmetics will eventually pop up in the conversation. With their funky packaging and many devoted fans, this brand was quickly sent at the top of my want-to-try list.

Still, the price tag and the fact that the brand is not really easy to find on our markets made sure that I haven't tried any of their products –until now! 

Thanks to my father, who brought me a couple of magazines from England, I am now a proud owner of a mini They’re Real Tinted Primer by Benefit.

The product is meant to work in two different ways, as you can use it on its own or underneath your mascara as a primer.

 The primer itself is a dark brown colour and when used on its own, it elongates and separates the lashes and gives them a defined, yet natural look.

The real magic happens when you use it as a primer. When (more or less any) mascara is applied over the primer, the lashes look fuller, longer and overall incredible.

Water resistant formula makes sure that the product stays on your lashes ( no matter how you apply it) and also helps the lashes hold the curl. It stays intact to the end of the day and is quite easily removed with an oil-based makeup remover.

The shape of the brush is (as far as I know) the same as the wand in the They're Real mascara, -sleek and long, with a mace shaped bit at the end which proves to be very helpful for applying the product on the inner part of the eye or on the lower lashes.

Based on my experience with this product, I now can't wait to try some other Benefit products!
