When
choosing which Sleek palette to get, I found the Supreme palette from the PPQ Shangri-La
collection. Even though I don't usually wear much color on my eyes, I was very
intrigued by the colors in the palette and couldn't pass it up. While the
Sunset palette had red toned shades and the Garden of Eden was green themed,
the Supreme palette is an interesting mixture of blues, greens and yellows.
The palette
contains mostly matte shades, which might seem unwearable at first, but prove
to be quite useful when paired appropriately. I was hoping that the colors
would be pigmented enough to create vibrant and colorful looks, and here is
what I thought about them:
Blue suede –
pastel blue matte with a good color payoff and a smooth texture
R&B – navy
blue matte with great color payoff and a smooth texture
Bronx black
– matte black with a good color payoff and a smooth texture
Grand
master flash – soft matte yellow with good color payoff and a smooth texture
Wah wah
white – white/silver shimmer that leaves a bit of white sheen
Smokey
robinson – soft matte gray with poor color payoff and a smooth texture
Al green –
army green matte with great color payoff and a smooth texture
Commodores
cream – pastel turquoise matte with great color payoff and a smooth texture
Shangrilas
lemon – pastel yellow matte with great color payoff and a smooth texture
The color payoff of this palette is absolutely amazing; most of the shades are matte and still give a great amount of colors. The texture of the shades is very smooth and blends beautifully.
They are not as long-lasting as the shimmery shades from other Sleek palettes, but they still last the whole day if applied over a primer.
If you like
using color on the eyes, this palette might be amazing for you!
Thanks for
reading and see you in my next post!
Rawr,
your Beautysaur
