As you might
have seen in my Skincare haul, I changed up quite a few bits in my skincare
routine, and this cleansing gel was one of the new additions. I have been
searching for a good budget-friendly cleanser for the longest time, and this is
the closest thing I found.
The gel
promises to remove all the makeup and access oil and dirt from the skin, whilst
the hyaluronic acid is supposed to moisturize it. The bisabolol in the gel is anti-irritant,
anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial is supposed to help with the skin
healing. The product is paraben,
paraffin and silicone free.
The
cleanser comes out of the tube very runny, like a slightly liquefied gel, so
you have to be careful not to use too much. I apply it to a moist face and
gently rub it in. First I focus on the face and then move to the eyes that
usually have the most makeup on. It takes a few seconds, but a gentle massage
removes even waterproof mascara. When I see that the makeup has dissolved, I
add some warm water, and then remove it with a gentle flannel.
The product
feels nice and smooth on the skin, but I have to keep my eyes shut, otherwise
it does irritate them slightly. After I pat the face dry with the flannel, all
the makeup and access oils have been removed. My skin feels clean but very
tight and a bit dried out. For my oily skin, the drying part isn't that
problematic, because it all works out perfect after I moisturize the face with
a rich face cream, but this would probably be way too drying for someone that
already has really dry skin.
The product
is really good at cleansing the surface of the skin, but for a deeper cleanse I
like to use other products in my skincare routine.
Every now
and then I still only use a micellar water to remove all of my makeup, but for
the most days, this cleanser is what I use to remove the makeup. If I had on a
really heavy makeup, I will use micellar water after I clean my face with this
product.
I enjoy
using this product and it has helped me clear my skin quite a lot. It will
probably be a regular part of my skincare routine, until my wallet will be
capable of purchasing a selected high-end cleanser.
Thank you
for reading and see you in my next post!

Me sedaj mika tale :)
