February Favorites 2016

February is over, and even though it was over quite quickly, I couldn't wait for it to be over as I am completely sick of winter and am eagerly looking forward to spring, sun and fresh flowers. However, before I completely say goodbye to this past month, let me tell you about the product I've been enjoying lately:

Avon ColorTrend lipstick in Amour

I won't linger on this one for too long as I briefly talked about it in my Valentine'sDay post. At first, I didn't think much of it, but as it turns out, this one completely blew me away. The colour is a gorgeous gentle pink, the texture is smooth and surprisingly nourishing and I've been reaching for it almost every day since I got it.

Catrice Eye Brow Stylist in 040 Don't Let Me Brow'n

After trying out a few felt pen numbers, I made the right decision to return to basics. This lovely ashy brown with a slightly waxy texture makes filling in my brows such a quick and easy task. With the help of the spoolie on the other side of the pen, it's so simple to achieve a natural looking brow.

Rimmel ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in 005 Nude

Most of us know the trick for looking fresh and rested, a bit of a nude eyeliner on the waterline makes all the difference. But, finding the right shade and texture can be a bit more tedious task.
This one is incredible, amazingly pigmented, smooth and creamy; it applies flawlessly and makes you look way more rested than you actually are. With a price like that, this will probably remain a permanent part of my everyday makeup bag.

Molton Brown Black Peppercorn body wash

During the past month, I spent quite a few night away from home and for that I always pack a small bag of cosmetic essentials. This month I decided to try out one of the body washes that I got in my LookFantastic advent calendar. The peppercorn smelled amazing and I was dying to give it a go.
The scent is quite spicy and strong, and even though it could be perceived as a manly scent, this is so invigorating in the mornings! I'm not one to pay much attention to most body washes, but this one really impressed me and I wanted to give it a little shout-out in my favourites.

Golden Rose Rich Color Nail Lacquer in 68

I've been really into blue nail polish lately, especially fond of bright baby blue shades and Golden Rose once again turned out to be a great choice. The formula is gorgeous, easy to work with and long-lasting with a lovely glossy finish. I can tell for sure I'll be reaching for it again and again this spring.

Kiko Quick Dry Nail Lacquer in 849 Pearly Antique Blue

When I was in the mood for a more subtle blue, this Kiko quick drying number turned out to be a perfect muted version of the previous one. The tiny little glitter in it give it a sophisticated sheen and the quick dry formula makes it a dream to work with.

Chloe See by Chloe Eau Fraiche

Even though I talked about this many times on the blog before, this one deserved an honourable mention in this month's favourites as it was a Valentine's day present from my boyfriend. Without a doubt, one of my top favourite perfumes, this one is the only perfume I reach for these days. You can read more about it in my Favoritesof 2015 or in my March Favorites from last year.

P.S.: You might remember me mentioning monthly challenges in my New Year's Resolutionspost. In January I gave up meat (and it tuned out to be a great choice, therefore I am sticking to it indefinitely). For February I decided to give up refined sugars and though it was quite far, I managed to get through the month and even decided
to prolong the challenge for another month.

But, March still calls for another challenge and this time I decided to give up dairy products. I always knew I had a slight intolerance to lactose, but now I want to see what happens if I give up all the dairy products in my life.
However, I decided March was time to take up one more challenge, so I am joining my fellow bloggers in a get fit challenge Fit Izziv 2016: Dvigni rit, bodi fit!.

As always, I'll keep you posted on how the challenges are going and until then, I wish you a great month! I can't wait for spring to start!

Rawr,
your Beautysaur
