Lately, I've been spending a lot of time on Sephora's website, and (yup, I have to admit) I have collected so much products in the basket that I will probably never buy. I’ve said to myself, why let all that time go to waste, I’m going to at least post a wish list to my blog. There were so many products in my basket that I had to limit myself to a specific area, and I picked eye shadow palettes. And here there are, lovely beauty goodies in all their glory (aren't they gorgeous?):

There were some sales going the last time I was in Müller with my boyfriend. We had some time to kill so we wandered around for a little bit. My lovely boyfriend treated me to some bits and pieces as a little gift (-isn't he the best!) and I decided to share them with you. 

A new Sephora just around a corner

This post is a little bit different, but I really wanted to share this information with you. We all know that getting our hands on different beauty product can be quite hard in Slovenia. Of course, there are online shops, but I must say I prefer the real deal.

During the holidays my family decided to make a quick trip out of this gloomy and fogy Ljubljana and find somewhere sunny. We took our dog and jumped in the car. After wandering around Kras, walking our doggies and stopping for a degustation of really yummy prosciutto, we decided to jump over the border to Ikea in Gorizia.

I love winter, but with the weather being so gloomy and dark, I started dreaming about lovely sunny spring days. I figured there is no way to change the weather or to skip forward to spring time, so I opted for a next best thing. A little bit of spring on my lips with a bright fuchsia colored lipstick.

In the world of makeup EVERYBODY (and their mother and their brother and their cats) know about the Urban Decay Naked Palettes. First there was just Naked, than it was Naked 2 after that came Naked Basics and Naked 3 recently caused quite a stir when it came to the stores.

I was into makeup since I can remember but I must admit that for the longest time, I was choosing product based only on their price. It took me quite a while to understand that sometimes, spending more money on a really good product is better than buying lots and lots of bad ones. The Naked Palettes were stuck in my mind, I’ve read so many reviews, seen so many tutorials and I knew I need to have one. 

Let's cook! Yummy fried rice recipe

There are days where I really don't know what to make for lunch. The fridge looks empty, nothing looks tasty and I really crave something new and delicious. Friday was one of those days and I’ve spent an eternity walking around the kitchen, looking for ideas. Finally I decided to make some sort of rice dish and the ideas started pouring in. I’ve wanted to use up bits and pieces that were laying in my fridge and after checking out my ingredients I decided to make veggie fried rice. I was trying to make my lunch similar to the dishes you get in Chinese restaurants, but if you decide to use the recipe, you can use any sort of vegetable or other ingredients and make it a little bit different.

To make this dish you are going to need:

 rice
onions
carrots
broccoli
corn
leek
eggs
soy sauce
sesame oil

London HAUL

In the beginning of the December, me and my boyfriend took a little trip to London. I’ve been to London quite a few times before, but never in December, so we went to enjoy the Christmas lights, do some sightseeing and of course  do some shopping.

A few days ago I've set my first blog post live. It was the last day of the year and it seemed appropriate to end it (and at the same time start the blog) with the list of my 2013 favorites. But I think that I still need to write at least some sort of introduction.

Let’s start with the basics. My name is Ana and I’m a 21 years old student from Slovenia. I love make-up and all the other bits and bobs that go hand in hand with it. Besides that, I am a huge animal lover and am obsessed with my 2 doggies (to be honest, one dog technically belongs to my brother, but I love him just the same). I also really love cooking and baking and I spend way too much time in front of TV watching countless cooking shows. My other passion is reading. When I was younger, basically all I did was read everything that came in my hands and even though I don’t have as much time to read now, I still adore the feeling of getting sucked into the book and devouring it from the start to the end.

So, what can you expect from this blog? Mostly beauty stuff; -hauls, reviews, suggestions, ideas for makeup, skincare and hair. But once in a while there might be a sneaky post about book suggestions, a yummy recipe, some DIY ideas or pictures and updates from my life.
