Review: MR Pro Fix -makeup fixing spray

A while ago I received a Makeup Revolution Pro Fix makeup fixing spray to test out. I was quite excited, especially because it's summer and my makeup seems to slide off my face even faster than before.
 I took quite some time, because I wanted to be to test it out properly, and now I have finally formed a full opinion.

To start with the packaging, it's not my favorite, but I do like the rose gold details on the bottle. The packaging is plastic with a spray cap that dispenses a fine mist of the product.

The product itself is a clear liquid. When sprayed out of the bottle, it dispenses evenly.
 The scent of the product bothers me a little, it reminds me of a dentist's office, and that is not the most pleasant scent to me. When the product dries, the scent disappears, but the spray leaves behind a bit of a tacky residue.

When I apply it over the full face of makeup, it leaves my skin a bit sticky. I wanted to make this work, so I tried to use it in a few different ways.

I wouldn't recommend using it over the makeup, but it works quite well as a base product. I spray it after I apply my primer and it provides another layer for the rest of the makeup to stick to. It also works well as a product between layers, to make sure the layers set well and don't move after you apply them. After that I set my makeup with a bit of a setting powder, and it tends to last an hour or two longer than usual.

It can also be used to amplify the color and finish of your eyeshadow. I spray a bit on my brush before applying the eyeshadow and I get a bit more of a metallic and intense finish.

Overall, I think the product works quite well, even though I wish it would dry better when applied over makeup. It is a great way to slightly elongate the staying power of the makeup. 

The price of the product makes it affordable and might be nice to try if you are looking for a product to make your makeup last longer.
