Review: AlpStories Cleansing Gel ·Sage & Mint·

AlpStories is one of the brands that appeared on the market with innovative products and creation processes and I've always wanted to give their products ago. I've been using the Cleansing Gel with Sage and Mint for a while and thought it was about time I share my thoughts with you.

The product is 100% natural and free of any nasties (parabens, mineral oils, silicones, artificial colours, synthetic fragrances, SLS or SLES). I find it's always a good sign, when you can read the ingredients list and understand a lot of the ingredients listed.

One of the first ingredients is aloe vera, an ingredient that helps to cool, soothe and moisturize the skin. Another ingredient is peppermint oil helps to refresh, remove bacteria and cleanse the skin. I was not as familiar with sage skincare benefits, but apparently it is full of antioxidants, should help to regulate sebum production as well as treat and prevent any skin problems (such as acne, eczema,…).

My skin (as I've mentioned many times before) is quite greasy, prone to breakouts, blemishes and occasional dry patches. Cleansing my skin can get a bit tricky, because it can easily get either too dry or too oily, depending on the products I use.

This cleansing gel is a dream to use. It feels gentle, but effective and helps to deep cleanse my skin. After use, my skin feels balanced and »happy«. With continued use, I noticed there were less blemishes appearing on the skin and I had less problems with dry patches. It’s amazing for oily and blemish prone skin, but it’s so gentle, that I believe it could be used with dry skin as well.

I love how using this get me the same results that I would get with much stronger cleansers (for example charcoal ones), without irritating or drying out my skin, and I really want to try more products form the brand.
