Spring 2018: New products from Catrice and L.O.V.

The brands L.O.V. and Catrice have updated their line and added a lot of new products. I got to try a few of them and want to share my opinions of them with you in this blog post:

Catrice BlushFlush LE ▪ Ombre Blush Palette ▪ C01

Feels like it has been a while since I was so intrigued by a LE product from the drugstore. I've seen these blushes pop up on social media and was immediately drawn to them because of the retro packaging design and the ombre setup inside.

In the days when the weather outside is plain and cold, L'Occitane embraces us with the warm light of the morning sun in their new Terre de Lumiere L'Eau fragrance.

My skin was always a bit problematic, with excess sebum production and constant blemishes, it was always a challenge to find suitable skincare. I found that clays and charcoal work well with my skin and was therefore really excited when the face mask and cleansing gel from the L'Oreal Pure Clay arrived in the post.

First Impressions: LE Catrice x Dawid Tomaszewski

Catrice collaborated with the designer Dawid Tomaszewski for their new collection and I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. The rose gold and geometric design on the packaging give the whole line a sophisticated yet trendy vibe and the shades seem perfect for autumn.

Le Couvent des Minimes: Eau du Prieuré

As I am writing this post, wrapped in a blanked while looking at the rain falling outside, I'm pretty sure that summer is coming to an end. To be completely honest, I'm quite excited for fall, the colder weather, colourful leaves and cosy evenings.

However, I'm not ready to say goodbye to summer just yet. If you are like me and want to hold on to the summer feeling for a little bit longer, this new and limited edition fragrance from Le Couvent des Minimes might be just the thing you need.

L'Occitane Pivoine Sublime Lip Balm SPF 25 - Tender Red

Peonies have always been my favourite flowers and it's no wonder that L'Occitane's Peony line still reigns amongst my all-time-favourites. One of the newest additions to the collection were the Pivoine Sublime Tinted Lip Balms. Formulated with SPF 25 and perfecting peony extract, they provide the lips with necessary care and protection and offer a bit of coloured tint. 

Too Faced · Sweet Peach Palette· Review and Swatches

The Sweet Peach eyeshadow palette by Too Faced had conquered the world. First available only as a fun limited edition, it quickly got so popular, that Too Faced decided not only to make it permanent, but to heavily focus on expanding the Peach line.

I don't know whether it is the sweet peach scent, amazing quality or cute packaging that makes people go crazy for it, but I fell in love with it and want to share my review with you.

·March Favourites· 2017

Spring has arrived and I am ecstatic to be writing this post in the sun, surrounded by pretty blossoms and happy bird chirps. Although I have recently posted my February favourites, I've discovered a few more in March. This month has gone by in a frenzy, a combination of puppy duties and (finally) finishing my Uni tasks, kept me on my feet and I've been trying to sort my life out a bit.
