4 berry nailpolish options for fall

What other colors describe autumn better than burgundy and berry shades? For me, nothing beats a good autumnal berry manicure, and after applying one of my new favorites, I decided to share with you some of my favorite picks for berry nails.

The swatches you see on my nails are painted with one of the newest additions to my collection –the L'Oreal Color Riche nail polish in Laetitia's Pure Red which is a gorgeous dark burgundy shade with lots of tiny glitters.

It applies so effortlessly and lasts on the nails very well. I love the sophisticated fall vibe it gives to the nails. Considering the ratio between the size and the price, it is not the best bargain you can find at the drugstore, but it is a really amazing shade with great quality.

In case you are in a mood for a slightly different shade, I went through my stash and picked some other options of a berry shades:

The first one is a KIKO nail lacquer in 497. In a bottle it looks like a burgundy shade with loads of blue and silver shimmer but translates on the nails as shade that looks like either a red, blue or purple in different lightings.

The second one is the most affordable, and is the Catrice ultimate nail lacquer in 38 Vino Tinto. Opposed to the first two, this one doesn't contain any shimmer and is a beautiful muted wine color. The brush is surprisingly nice for Catrice and the quality very likable, therefore a very good and affordable choice.

Last but not least is a beauty world staple for fall, the Essie's bahama mama. Almost a cult classic, this pure berry shade offers a gorgeous shade combined with superb formula of Essie polishes. When in doubt, this will definitely a safe option to go for in the colder months.
