April Favorites 2014

It's time for the monthly favorites again! This month I got so many new things that I was trying out which means that there were not many products that I was using through the whole month. 

There are some products that stood out and let's jump straight to the explanation why they are my faves (looking at the pictures now, I notice that I had a very neutral month):

A weekend by the sea

 Hey guys! I've been blogging for about 4 months now and enjoying every minute of it. This is actually my 50th post (I honestly can't believe that I wrote so many already, how much I've learned and how much has happened through these few months). So, I thought I might do a bit more personal post today. Last week, I've been to the seaside with my boyfriend and since I took so many pictures, I wanted to share them with you.

New in my beauty stash #5 -goodies from USA

 I've been wanting to try some Elf and Wet'n'Wild products for such a long time and when my friend went to America, I seized the opportunity and asked him to bring me some stuff. 

Today I am only showing you what I got, I am testing out the products (loving them for now), but I will do a review of each product soon.

Bits and pieces #1

A few weeks ago I ordered some stuff from China. Partially because I wanted a new phone case but mostly because it was all so cheap. They are really fun and I've been enjoying them a lot, so I decided to make a post.

Travelling light

I had some trips planned in April and I was looking for a way to minimize the size of my luggage. Lots of products that I use come in a huge and heavy packaging that is a nightmare to pack and drag around.

Last week I went on a little weekend trip to Croatia with my boyfriend and on our way we stopped for some shopping. Of course, I simply had to spend some time in the drugstore (DM) and buy some products that caught my eye. Here is what I got:

Oh-oh somebody has been spending too much time on Sephora website again (bad Beautysaur!). I just can't help it, I can't resist the urge to spend hours lusting after products that I will probably never own (how productive!). But, trying to see the silver lining, I can make another wish list post, so here it is- come and join me in admiration of these goodies:

Nail it #3 Easter inspired nails

So, finally I ventured into complicated world of manicures. Obviously, I am not really good at it but I liked the idea, so I decided to share it with you.

Getting ready for my brother's prom

Today's post is going to be a bit different. Last week it was my brother's prom and while I was getting ready I remembered that I could take some pictures for the blog. Due to the lack of time there are not many, but I still wanted to share what I wore and what I had on my face with you.

Today was the first day that I've felt like a human being again after days of horrible allergies and aggressive cold. I've been so sick of seeing myself looking so awful, that I just had to spent some time in front of the mirror and have some quality time with my make up. And here are the results:

I've been really sick for the last few days and while I am getting better I find myself craving some pampering. After going through my options, I re-discovered these two and immediately knew that their scent alone (not to mention the effects) will make me feel much better.

Sally Hansen Extra Moisturizing 4-in-1 treatment

My nails are badly misbehaving lately. They are dry, fragile and tend to break all the time. This is one of the things I use to try and get them into a better condition.

Nivea Soft moisturizer

Sometimes the simple products are the best. This moisturizer is a simple gentle version of the classic Nivea cream. I use it, my mum uses it, my grandma was using it as well as pretty much the rest of my family. It is simple, versatile and very effective.

New in my beauty stash #3 - the Naked 3 palette

I am so very excited about this post! I run out of words every time I see this palette and feel like jumping around with joy anytime I use it! I got it as a prize from Živa at Nothin'Fancy. Really. (once more, Živa thank you so so so so much!) when she chose me as a winner of her Valentines Project. Today I just wanted to share it with you as I took some pictures of it the day I got it and am really excited about them. I've been trying different looks with the palette and everything looks so pretty on the eyes. I'm going to do a proper review once I get to know it a little bit better, but for now I hope you enjoy the pics!

March Favorites

March has passed and we have officially ventured into spring time. But before I go on with regular posts, I have some monthly favorites that I want to share with you:

Completely inappropriately packaged, a kind of an underdog in the beauty community but an incredible miracle worker. Ladies (and gentlemen) meet the hero who managed to tame my beastly mane into rather nice and manageable hair.
