Blogmas 15: Inspired by a shooting star

I've been thinking for a really long time what to do for the next day of Taya's Christmas challenge. The theme is »inspired by a Christmas movie« and I really couldn't decide what movie to pick.

I found the perfect idea, and decided to make a manicure inspired by a shooting star from the Nativity story. 

It is, like all of my manicures, very simple and easy to do. Because of the glitter I feel like it would be perfect for a Christmas party or a night out.

I used a dark blue base to create the “night sky” and added some glitter to create the illusion of the stars. On the middle finger I used different nail polish and glitter than on the others, to add some diversity to the look. On the ring finger I draw a little silver star and then added some glitter to create its »tail«.
