Christmas eve
is getting closer and closer and I've started thinking about what makeup will I
wear. I started playing around and came up with this look. It's a pretty standard Christmas color scheme, but I love it and I'll be definitely wearing something like this on Christmas eve.
I used a
lot of the products that I mentioned in my Blogmas 13: Drugstore picks for Christmas and then added the products that were missing.
To create a
flawless makeup base I used the Catrice Velvet Finish foundation, concealer and
powder. A little bit goes a long way with this combination and it last a really
long time on the skin. I liked the pale look so I didn't add any bronzer and
only used a little bit of read blush on the apples of my cheeks.
On the eyes
I used the Maybelline Color Tattoos in Eternal Gold and Metallic Pomegranate as
a base. Then I used my Makeup Revolution Flawless palette and layered some gold
eye shadow on the inner part of the lids, rusty red color on the middle part
and a darker red color in the outer -v-
part. To bled everything together I used a light matte eye shadow in the
crease.
I draw a
thin black line with my favorite Art Deco High Precision liquid eyeliner. To
add some volume and length to the lashes I used the Rocked volume express
waterproof mascara.
To define
the brows I used my usual –the Elf eyebrow kit in Medium. To finish the whole
look, I used the Rimmel Apocalips in 400 Big Bang.
Thanks for reading and see you tomorrow!
Happy holidays,
